The census provides information to the UK Government on the population including, their characteristics, education, religion, ethnicity, working life and health gives decision-makers in national and local government, community groups, charities and business the opportunity to better serve communities and individuals in the United Kingdom. Verifi Solutions have provided a Consultant to create and manage the implementation of the Census Programme Testing Strategy.
Surrey Police
Between 2008 and 2012 Surrey Police invested in a programme intended to replace their aging Crime Information System (CIS) and Case Management system (NSPIS) with an integrated Crime, Intelligence, Custody and Case recording system. Verifi Solutions Ltd joined the programme at a crucial time in the lifecycle, just after the completion of the final design and development sprint.
Sussex Police
In conjunction with PA Consulting and police staff, Verifi Solutions worked across both Surrey and Sussex County Police Forces to lead and deliver all aspects of the testing lifecycle in support of the implementation of an integrated crime Records Management System, Niche RMS (http://www.nicherms.com/) We developed and implemented a Testing Strategy and coordinated teams across both police forces.
Metropolitan Police
Verifi Solutions Ltd provided Test, QA and Release Management services for the Metropolitan Police’s Total Technology Programme part of the wider Total Policing and One Met strategy for London. With proven Policing technology and business process experience through our experiences in the delivery of Niche RMS to Surrey & Sussex Police our consultant was a perfect fit for leading the Test, Quality and Release Management roles on the Digital Policing programme (http://content.met.police.uk/Site/digitalpolicing) and specifically providing Test and Release Management services on the Crime, Intel, Custody and Case projects.
Foreign & Commonwealth Office
Verifi Solutions is providing Quality Assurance and Test Management services for a programme run by Agile Byte Limited (http://www.agilebyte.co.uk) for the FCO. Agile Byte are providing Cloud hosting through Skyscape Cloud Services (http://www.skyscapecloud.com/) and a number of Specialist Cloud Services including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Information as a Service (Iaas).
Ministry of Defence
In contract to the MoD and in the care of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services (HP ES - formerly EDS) Verifi Solutions Ltd undertook the design and implementation of the Test Strategy, assuring Factory Acceptance from suppliers and providing Test Management and Assurance services for two key defence logistics Supply Chain Management programmes; - Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) - Management of Materiel in Transit (MMiT)
Fire Service
FiReControl was a programme designed to replace 46 fire and rescue control rooms in the UK with 9 new Regional Control Centres (RCC). The new RCC's were built in advance of the end-to-end software system being developed and accepted into service. Verifi Solutions Ltd was approached to be part of a leadership team implementing a change in strategic direction of the team's software delivery methodology, from waterfall to Agile.
